The Golf Fellowship® prides itself as a welcoming, enjoyable, and encouraging community that treats all parties as equals and how it would like to be treated. TGF Members are representatives of The Golf Fellowship®. TGF expects all of its members to treat other members, guests and host venue staff with respect and kindness.
When conflict arises between members, it is expected that those members will talk with each other to work out their differences.
The Golf Fellowship® will not entertain requests to not be paired with specific members as this undermines our goals for healthy communities.
In order to protect our managers and provide our host courses with accurate counts, the following are in effect:
Late Registration Times
9 Hole Events
18 Hole Events
The Golf Fellowship® event registration deadlines are based on TGF partner course contractual requirements & TGF event preparation lead times. TGF may allow registration after this point if there is availability.
TGF Members are encouraged to ask if openings are available even if event registration is unavailable.
Specific Deadlines
9 Hole Events
18 Hole Events
The Golf Fellowship® will always seek to give full refunds for players withdrawing from an event. That said, TGF is most likely able to give full refunds* up until 24 hours prior to 9-hole rounds and 72 hours prior to 18-hole rounds.
In the case of a rain cancellation, TGF will refund* players in conjunction with host course policies on when the cancellation occurred...prior to or during the event.
TGF has a 95%+ refund record, but there are times when our host courses will hold us to our numbers.
--------------------------
* Refunds will be via the method of payment used unless otherwise discussed, minus any transaction fees.
The Golf Fellowship® will rarely cancel an event prior to the event taking place and will lean almost entirely on the host venue's discretion.
Every host course has a different policy, but they will almost always choose to continue to allow play unless it is detrimental to course conditions. For example: Some courses have very strict lighting policies, where others leave it more up to a group's discretion.
TGF's policy is loosely stated as: "We're playing until we aren't allowed to, so come prepared." TGF will not put participants out on a course in unsafe conditions.
See Event Refund Policy for information on cancellations.
